María Castañeda 

María Castañeda is an economist with experience in data science, econometric model building and macroeconomic analysis.

María has worked in the financial sector (BBVA) as an economic and Big Data researcher and has master's and postgraduate studies in economics and statistics. She is our Senior Python Economist and her areas of interest are: monetary policy, data analysis, Latin America and economic growth.
